PreK and Kinder Library Manners

Please view the Preview to see what is included in the product!

Establishing expected library manners is essential at the start of the school year. Setting the expectations for the library will help with "classroom management" throughout the year. This library lesson for Pre-K and Kindergarten students is designed to take place at the beginning of the school year and is a fun and interactive activity!

The lesson utilizes the following books: Mr. Wiggles Library by Carol Thompson, illustrated by Bobbie Houser; Manners in the Library by Carrie Finn, illustrated by Chris Lensch; Curious George Visits the Library by H. A. Rey and Margret Rey. But you could use any book that introduces your students to the library.

This resource is also available as GoogleSlides™ files, which you can use for distance learning. Due to copyright restrictions, I cannot embed a video of the read alouds. There is space to link or embed a video to a read-aloud that you record or find.

Also, newly added is an activity for health and social distancing.
