This Pre-Kindergarten pack is fully aligned with the Common Core Standards for New York. If your state does not yet have Pre-Kindergarten Standards, utilizing these standards would be a great way to start aligning the Pre-K curriculum with the National Standards.
This packet is designed for three purposes:
1) The Parent Handouts give Pre-K parents a "heads-up" regarding expectations for students as they complete Pre-Kindergarten and enter Kindergarten.
2) The recording forms for the "Top Twelve" ELA and Math standards are designed to serve as a planning/record keeping tool for teachers.
3) The Common Core Report Card is designed to inform parents of their child’s progress in regards to Pre-Kindergarten goals.
These documents are written in Microsoft Word and are fully editable. So - if your state or school has published Pre-K Standards, it will be easy to make any necessary changes.
The Pre-Kindergarten Report Card in this bundle is also sold separately. So - if you purchase this bundle, please do not purchase the report card.
