Praise Phrases™

Praise is a research based way to increase motivation, effort and achievement in the classroom. I created this simple and effective tool to give students some quick positive feedback because we all know that "Good Job" and "Nice Work" are overused and tired. These fresh and abundant PRAISE PHRASES can be laminated and worn around your neck on a lanyard so you always have new Praise Phrases to use with your students.

I also teach students to use Praise Phrases with each other. Teaching students to praise each other builds classroom community and builds student confidence and self-esteem. It also makes students feel good! Everyone likes a compliment. It shows you care and that's a pretty sweet message to send someone.

This card is provided in a full 8.5x11, half sheets and quarter size.

These Praise Phrases are included on the back side of the Happy Go Teach Conference name tag so if you are registered for Happy Go Teach in Palm Springs, Raleigh, Minneapolis or Houston, you will receive these Praise Phrases as a hard good and a digital good.
