This Potential and Kinetic Energy reading passage is a part of my Amazing Science Close Reading Passage series. It is complete with everything you need to tie together your science and literacy instruction!

The passage included is provided in THREE differentiated reading ranges for upper elementary and middle school. To ensure quick, easy, and discreet differentiation in your classroom, the reading level is indicated by a small symbol on the passage. Wherever your class is with close reading, this passage is designed to meet the diverse needs of each of your students!

In addition to the differentiated Potential and Kinetic Energy passage, you will also receive an accompanying set of differentiated text dependent questions that will drive students back to the text to gain deeper understanding. Also included is 1 week of rigorous close reading activities, suggested pacing and lesson plans, teacher notes, and more!
