Post-Secondary Research Project (aka Future Choice Research)

This project was originally developed for high school seniors, then modified for juniors. They must research two post-secondary options: 2-yr college, 4-yr college, trade/technical school, or branch of the military. In addition to the research, which requires a works cited, students must request a letter or recommendation and write follow up notes of thanks. Then each student must write a proposal that will persuade his/her parents to allow him/her to apply to the post-secondary option the student has chosen. All the steps and tips are included, along with a rubric.
