Description

Keep your students engaged as they learn the rules of possessive nouns with this apostrophe worksheet and craftivity! Students will practice identifying when to use the apostrophe before the -s or after the -s!

  • Worksheet- Students begin by reading sentences on a worksheet. They rewrite the underlined phrase as a possessive noun. Some of the words end with 's (the girl's flower), and some of the words end with s' (the girls' flowers).

  • Activity- Next, students copy their words from the worksheet onto the correct popcorn pieces, and assemble the craftivity. The finished products make a unique bulletin board or fun school hallway display! It can also be used as a novel entry in an interactive notebook!
