★Build A Sentence: Students use the word wall to find words and generate complete sentences.
⭐Alphabetize Me: Students pick a word wall book and then put all of the words in alphabetical order.
★Magnetic Mat: Students build words using magnetic letters and then write sentences and illustrations to match.
⭐Play Dough Mat: Students form words using play dough.
★Singular VS Plural: Using the Dolch Nouns book, students will write nouns in their singular and plural form as well as draw matching illustrations to show understanding.
⭐Tic-Tac-Toe: Using two words from the list instead of X and O, students will play a classic game of tic-tac-toe.
★Spell-It-Out: With a partner, students will work on spelling words to one another and then writing them down and generating complete sentences with the words.
⭐Roll a Sight Word: Using a die to guide them, students will write specific words depending on what number they roll on the die.
★Sight Word Search: For this game, students will need specific list books i.e. Dolch First Grade or Fry's First 100. They will work with a partner to search for words on the list.
