Population Density Map Task Cards - how to read special purpose maps

This is a set of 24 beautiful task cards to help students work on reading a population density map. It also comes with a kid-friendly, colorful map for the kids to work on. Students can write their answers on the task cards or use the included recording sheet. Use these as task cards, for a center, or pass out the pages intact like a packet! It is a very versatile resource.

I created this population density map so that students can have a fun, colorful, and easy-to-read map to work on. It is color coded and allows students to find states and cities then use the map key to see the population density of that area.

I made this resource because all of the population density maps I found on the internet were dull and boring looking. I wanted something fun and engaging for my kids, so I made this product for them and now am hoping others will find joy in it too!
