Description

This Popcorn Theme Day unit is NO PREP and includes EVERYTHING you need to end the year with some extra fun! Your students will learn how popcorn works, sing a popcorn song, and even watch popcorn pop in slow motion. This unit includes math, phonics, grammar, comprehension, and writing connections. Your students will rate and graph their favorite popcorn flavors, play a “pop the popcorn” digraph and trigraph game, sort common and proper nouns, read POP! (video link included) focusing on story elements, and complete a fun popcorn craft listing their goals for the summer. Last, you will want to end the day with a popcorn treat and maybe even a movie! This end of the year unit is the perfect countdown to summer!
