Poor Numeracy Skills and the Walls come Tumbling Down - FREE

This white paper is a short discussion on the layering of numeracy skills from elementary school through freshman Calculus.

It affords the reader with a 3rd, 7th, Algebraic and a Bounded Calculus problem to illustrate the layering of dependent math skills. My wife understands it without a tremendous math background, so it is not overly complicated.

I fail to understand why we allow this situation to continue for our students - school year after school year when there are inexpensive solutions availble that fix it.
