What educators are saying

I used this assignment as a review for my algebra 2 students as a review before we went into the Polynomials unit. They loved it. I highly recommend it!
This activity was great to test student understanding of the topics. It made students discuss problems and problem solve when they disagreed. Great resource!

Description

Practice operations with polynomials (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) with this triples activity! Multiplication includes binomial x binomial and binomial x trinomial.

There are 30 total cards in which there are 10 sets of 3 cards with the same answer. I created this activity as a twist on the classic task cards.Students can work on their own or in teams to simplify the expressions. Once they have finished all the cards, I have them cut them out, staple their "triples", and place them in a zip-lock bag for a classwork grade. An answer key is included to ensure the correct cards are matched together.
