Description
This is a worksheet to be used with my music video "One Hundred Eighty" from my YouTube channel "mrsteffessongs" in which I sing about the Polygon Interior Angle and Exterior Angle Sum Theorems. This is a great sheet for extra credit or homework since many answers are given in the video itself! Answer key is included.
The first section has students fill in the blanks from the lyrics to discover (and remember) the formula for finding the sum of the measures of interior angles in a polygon. Then there is a section of examples/exercises to find the sum of interior angle measures, a section to find the missing angle in a polygon by writing and solving an equation, and a section to discover the sum of the measures of the exterior angles of polygons using tracing paper or a protractor.

Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
