A fun way to teach Poetry Writing. Students use an emotion to create poems. PowerPoint walks them through writing the poem step by step. Engage your students as they learn about poetry writing. Includes a definition of poetry, explanation of figurative language, imagery, and sound devices, a list of human emotions, and a step by step approach to writing a sensory poem. You can also print out the included poetry frame for reference if you desire, and includes a printable poem format at the end for students to write on.
