Description
This project uses The Undefeated by Kwame Alexander to inspire students to write their own poems. I began the project by reading the poem aloud. Then, after analyzing the poem we began researching important info about our topics. Next, we drafted our poems making sure they were not only filled with figurative language, but were also historically accurate. We concluded the project by reading our poems aloud.
