Poetry Elements Review Game: I Have . . . Who Has . . .

Game cards are formatted to print on Avery Labels 8395 and then may be placed upon cardstock or construction paper. They may also be printed directly upon cardstock and then cut apart.

Give every student a game board. Either to partners or to individuals pass out the game cards. Have the first person read the first: “I have the first card” to begin.

To keep everyone engaged whether they are reading a card or not, direct the students to find and cross off each term as it is read aloud.

This game can be used as a review and played multiple times. After the students have played this a few times, time them and challenge them to beat their best time.
