Description

Introduce students to poetry using this digital (and print) writing unit! The plans are already written for you.

Students will:

  • distinguish between poetry and prose
  • identify stanzas, lines, and rhyme
  • describe mood and tone
  • compare two poems about similar subjects
  • extend their learning by writing their own poem

This includes both a digital notebook and a printable version to help your students whether you're in person, hybrid, or distance learning.
