Description

Analyzing poetry is a daunting process. This lesson breaks down poetry analysis in to 6 simple steps. By focusing on poetry analysis with the intention of writing odes, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of how poetry works.

6 step poetry analysis encourages students to focus on all aspects of poetry without feeling overwhelmed. The final step is optional but encourages thesis practice for students with weaker thesis writing skills.

Included:

- Google Slide Presentation detailing poetry analysis and writing with examples
