What educators are saying

I love using these poems each week with my class to practice reading fluency, word making, and comprehension skills!
I highly recommend this resource, which I have used both in the classroom and remotely. It is simple to use, and the students thoroughly enjoyed all the activities. It was both helpful and a lifesaver.

    Description

This is a Poem of the Week Mega Bundle that you can use for the whole year! Poem of the week is a great routine to have in your classroom. It helps develop reading fluency and confidence in reading. Poetry (Poem of the Week) MEGA Bundle Activity Packs 1-10 for second and third grade shared reading

These poems are great for use with shared reading, morning work, Daily 5 Word Work, literacy centers, whole class and small group activities.

If you purchase the individual poetry packs it would cost you $42.50 for all 10. Purchasing the Mega bundle will save you $15.00.

***This product includes Poetry: Poem of the Week Activity Packs #1-10 in my store. If you have purchased any of those you will be getting a duplicate file when you purchase this bundle***

Poetry and shared reading are a great match to help build reading fluency, word work skills and more! This is a set of 40 original cross-curricular poems with follow up literacy based activities. There is enough for 40 weeks of daily activities! There are 5 activities for each poem.

Please Note: Some of the activities might be challenging for lower level first grade students. They might need more guidance/support from you. I have personally used all of these activities with my first and second graders but I do have an easier set of poems and activities for first graders in my store.
