Description
Students will listen to the song "Colors of the Wind" from Disney's Pocahontas on YouTube. After listening to the lyrics of this song they will annotate the lyrics from three points of view: that of Pocahontas, John Smith and finally, their own! I use this in my environmental science class and it makes for an interesting take on the environmentalist side (Pocahontas) vs. the Anti-environmentalist side (John Smith) and they can then evaluate to see where they are on that scale! Great, super fun, activity!
