Plot Elements Craftivity for Valentine's Day

This engaging activity puts a fun spin on identifying the concepts of characters, setting, plot, and theme! It would also make for a great Valentine's Day activity!

I split this activity into two days.

• Day 1- Students read the short story "The Box of Chocolates". Then students complete two worksheets to identify the plot elements and the theme. These will eventually form the inside of the box of chocolates in the craftivity.

• Day 2- Students complete the craftivity by following the student-friendly directions that the teacher can place under the doc camera.

This Valentine's Day plot activity also includes detailed instructions (with photos!!) for your students to follow. It also includes a teacher instruction page that lists the exact materials you need to prepare for this craftivity.
