Plants and Animals Unit for Kindergarten (NGSS)
Description
This compressed file contains both PowerPoint and SmartBoard presentations that teach the basic concepts of animals & plants and conservation that are appropriate for kindergarten children. There are eight separate presentations: NGSS standards for plants and animals; NGSS standards for conservation; and six separate presentations on 6 different habitats (polar, ocean, desert, forest, rainforest, and wetlands). The preview will show you what the files contain. Included are worksheets for teaching and assessing learning. Also included are two booklets that student could illustrate: 1) Living Things and 2) Plant and Animal Homes.
An answer key is included for the pages where required.
(Although these files are specifically designed for the kindergarten NGSS standards, first grade teachers may be able to use many of these pages, especially early in the year.)
