Planets and Solar System Class Activity

Finished with a unit on the Planets or the Solar System? Creating a class mural is a great way to review with the students and allow them to apply what they have learned! This product has templates to create a large solar system model with your class. We did this activity after completing a unit study on the planets. The students were put into pairs and each pair had to create an accurate representation of their planet. Then, we all came together to put the planets in order on butcher paper. The students were creative and really had fun with this activity. It was great for the students to review and apply their knowledge! My students loved this activity, so I provided an explanation of exactly how I implemented it in my classroom! I hope your kiddos enjoy this activity as much as mine did!
