What educators are saying

I purchased this to use with a future project, so not certain how the students will like it, but it looks to me like an excellent resource!
We use this resource for our informational final copy on planets. The students love researching and writing about planets!

Description

The Planet Research Project is a creative way to learn about the planets and design a book that students can take home. This can be done as a whole group or individually. All you need are books about the planets so it can be adapted and tailored to meet the need of all learners. This works great to reinforce non-fiction text features as well.

I've also included directions on how I've implemented this into my own classroom.

Included:

KWL Chart

2 (5 pages) Choices of planning sheets (for students who are more/less independent)

9 Final Draft Pages (includes 1 for each planet) with spots for fun facts

2 Additional pages for those who love to write

1 Color, Cut, and Paste Planet Sequence Activity

(color and black and white)

1 Create your own planet activity

(2 levels)

Hope you enjoy it as much as my second graders did!

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
