After reading about planets in our reading series my students were excited to create their planet brochure!
Description
This brochure activity can serve as a great mini-research activity for kids to do as part of a unit on astronomy, or as an enrichment activity. Students are asked to research a planet in our solar system, and illustrate and fill in various pieces of information on the brochure. This project can easily be adapted for kids in grades 2-5 by adjusting your expectations for the amount of writing and specific levels of detail given by the students.
Brochure template, an example of student work, and instructions for the teacher are included.
