Description

This was designed to be used in my AP Human Geography class, either at home or in class, as students follow NPR's Planet Money through the commodity chain of their t-shirt, "The world behind a simple shirt, in five chapters." Between reading the website and viewing the videos, students will create an annotated map that includes analysis and identification of different sectors of the economy in MDCs and LDCs. A great resource and visual for commodity chains and globalization, this assignment asks students to use prior learning to summarize and explain while also using their geographic knowledge.
