Description

Have you ever helped to plan a FALL Festival or Carnival? In this engaging fall project based learning unit, students will use math and writing to plan their booths, food court, layout, and more. This hands-on PBL unit is so easy to implement while your students learn important real-world skills. Designing and building a Fall Festival booth is a perfect STEM activity. To extend learning, Carnival Probability activities are included.

Why PBL?

This PBL unit incorporates real-world 21st Century skills with challenging, engaging, and creative activities. There are lots of opportunities for differentiation and technology integration.

But first, students can read Cam Jansen's The Mystery of the Carnival Prize. I've provided comprehension questions and graphic organizers to go with the book.
