Description

Do you use songs to help students remember key math standards? Here's a song, a craft, and task cards to introduce CCSS Math Standard 2NBT2: Writing numbers to 1000.

Students learn a way to remember that there are 10 tens in 100 through the Hundreds Man Song. They do a craft coloring 10 tens to reinforce the words in the song. This reinforces place value all year. It's an easy to remember song with a big punch!

Also included are 2 Number Writing to 1000 packets.

-Count by 1s to 1000

-Count by 5s, 10s, and 100s to 1000

-32 Number Pattern Task Cards can be used in small group or whole class. You can laminate them and use them throughout the year as a review.

Students may sign a Brag Board when they finish the packets. 2 are included and ready to laminate.I have my students work independently on these packets or in small groups. They are great early finishers packets as well.

-2 Completion Certificates to send home help build confidence in student achievement.
