What educators are saying

This was super fun!! My kiddos loved the exercise while practicing place value as a class. It got their heart rate up, while learning! Thank you!
This resource was a fun and engaging way to get my kids moving and practicing their number sense. I think the physical activity aligned to each number helped them really understand place value a bit better! Thank you!

Description

This Place Value Fitness Game is perfect for the whole class or small groups to practice how many tens and ones in a hands on way!

This pack includes a Google Slides resource and an editable Powerpoint resource.

I use this for distance learning as part of our zoom meeting for a fun twist on place value. We practice how many tens, do jumping jacks for that number, and then how many ones, and do a random exercise for that number. This makes a great review of, or introduction to place value, and is perfect to get kids moving!

This editable powerpoint includes numbers 1 - 99 for place value practice with workouts like sit ups, jumping jacks, push ups, toe touches, one foot hops, etc.

The powerpoint can be customized - you can delete, add, or edit numbers that your students may need additional work on. I like to start with teen numbers, and then gradually move to twenties, thirties, etc.

With this hands on learning, my class catches on to place value quickly!

Happy teaching! :)
