What educators are saying

This was a HIT!! It was a nice change and a fun change to teach inferences. All of the kids were engaged and wanted more activities like this! Thank you for a great product.
I do this every year to work on inferencing before I work on it in literature. There is a great selection of videos to choose from. It also targets character traits.

Description

This inferring activity uses pixar shorts to teach the skill of inference. This aligns with ELA standards.

Each worksheet has inference type questions about the video. These could be used whole-class, in guided reading groups, or in strategy groups. They can be also done as independent or partner activities.

There are 6 worksheets with at least 5 questions each. The worksheets are all based on a different Pixar Short.

The shorts included are:

-"One Man Band"

-"Partly Cloudy:

-"La Luna"

-"For The Birds"

-"Presto"

-"Geri's Game"

All of the videos are available on youtube if you search the title.

I hope you enjoy this activity! My students love it and ask all year about watching the videos again. Have fun!!

If you liked this product and want something similar, I have a new "Summarizing with Pixar Shorts" product for sale! Please check it out!
