Pipe Cleaner Neurons Worksheet | AP Psychology

There is always a trend on how to teach parts of neurons and neural firing. Recently the trend shifted from candy neurons to pipe cleaner neurons! It is awesome! I created a worksheet (visually appealing) for the students to help communicate expectations for the activity. I learned that if I just say "build a neuron" there are a lot of misguided students. There are two parts in the worksheet. The first part is for the building of the neuron and the second part is for the neural firing instructions. First the students build the neurons then they use the same neurons to simulate neural firing with a group of other students. The rubric included is just a checklist for me to go through once they finish to make sure they got everything completed & done correctly.
