What educators are saying

Started using the El Education curriculum this school year and these posters have been a great visual for myself and my students.
I paired these cards with a recordable button so I can model the letter and sound each week. The students love this and are practicing their sounds each day!

Description

These phonics mini posters are perfect to put up on your whiteboard or on a bulletin board for students to see what they are learning and to reference. These science of reading aligned mini posters include all letters and phonics skills you might teach in K-1 in color. I post with a magnet on my whiteboard the phonics skill I am teaching for that week. That way I can change it out super easily each week and have a poster for my students to reference throughout the week. This is perfect for when they're writing and need to reference the formation on handwriting lines. If they are struggling with the sound, they can use the real life image to practice what their mouth should look like. You can also use in small groups if you are practicing a particular skill.

Each phonics poster has:

  • Letter/phonics formation
  • Beginning sound / pictures of words that contain the phonics skill
  • phonics dots to practice whole group or small group the sounds
  • Mouth formation for students to reference and practice sounds. Each image includes diverse skin tones and real life photos

Phonics Focus Posters Included:

•Letters A-Z

•Long vowels A E I O U (for teaching magic e)

•Digraphs sh, ch, th, wh, ck
