What educators are saying

I used this as a small group lesson during our Peter Pan unit. It is a great way to loop back to character traits!!
I absolutely LOVE this resource! Very well made and easy to use! It was just what I was looking for - thank you so much!!

Description

Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the rest of the gang will help your students learn about character traits in this quick literacy center activity. This activity pairs perfectly with the third grade EngageNY ELA Module 3A, or you can use it along with a class read aloud or small group literature circle novel study of the book Peter Pan.

This set contains six character cards for Tinker Bell, Mr. Darling, Nana, Captain Hook, Wendy, and Peter Pan. Students will sort the character trait vocabulary cards and match them to the appropriate characters. They can record their sort on the recording sheet. There is a follow-up writing assignment for students to choose one character and one trait, and write to explain why that trait describes that character, giving evidence and examples from the story.
