What educators are saying
Our learners loved this addition to our inquiry about pets. They were so excited to measure, weigh, draw and name their stuffed pets in our veterinary office using this resource. It was easy for them to understand and use independently.
Description
Use this one page handout to have students measure and weigh their stuffed animal pet using non-standard measurement for your dramatic play centre or for math centers. I had students bring a small stuffed animal from home as a special day and this was a great way to assess what they had learned in math recently. We measured using cubes and weighed them on a balance scale compared to other objects or other's stuffed animals. This resource includes 1 handout. It is similar to my Gourd Exploration handout.
