Personal Narrative Writing Unit Smartboard

In this Smartboard, you will find a guide to help students successfully write a personal narrative. The beginning of the Smartboard goes over Writer's Workshop expectations (overview of workshop model, conferencing and partner expectations, stages of writing, etc). The Smartboard successfully will take you through a variety of lessons discussing the following: what is a personal narrative?, seed vs. watermelons stories, generating and writing ideas (sketch, timeline, maps), making a writing plan, adding dialogue, zooming in, adding a strong ending, revising, editing, and publishing.
