2 books in one! Explore the Periodic Table of Elements through an adventure story of 2 Hydrogen brothers who learn and become other elements. Real life and practical examples of everyday items are illustrated through cartoons. This book is designed as an introduction to the world of chemistry through the eyes of my 5 year old who is now 12. The first part of this book is intended for parents/teachers to read out loud with young children. Chemical nomenclature and practical examples of everyday items are illustrated through cartoons. Metals, nonmetals and parts of the nucleus are introduced. The second half is a Teacher’s Guide for parents and older children who would like to learn more on how to explore chemistry in our daily lives. We tested this book in classroom setting from preschool through middle school children and was given positive feedback.
