Perfect Square Pirates: review game

Yaarrrr Matey!! Looking for some great individual or small group practice for perfect squares?! Ahoy! Look no farrrrrther! 4 activities to use when teaching or reviewing Perfect Squares with both 0—12 squared AND 0—20 squared included!

Find the Treasure - Help the pirate find his/her treasure by matching the perfect square to it’s simplified form. Use the “middle” card if you need extra help visualizing the multiplication.

X Marks the Spot - Roll two dice and find the sum of the roll.

Locate the perfect square of the sum and cover it up. The first player to make an X out of 5 circles WINS!

Polly's Pirate Puzzle - Color all the perfect squares RED and the NON-perfect squares BLACK. Perfect Squares in puzzle #1 and #2 include 0—12. Perfect Squares in puzzle #3 and #4 include 0–20

Walk the Plank - Pick up a card and decide whether it is a Perfect Square or a Non-Perfect Square. If you are correct, you get a point. If you are wrong, you begin “walking the plank”. Get 15 points before hitting the water and WIN!
