This product contains cards for 14 people involved with the Secret Annex. Students complete a chart on the people and answer 20 comprehension question (identify, multiple choice, and short answer).

(I put the cards up around the room, have them go around and record information, then answer questions)
Teacher Directions:
1) Print and cut out each of the profiles. Place around your room or in folders for centers (There is a direction sheet for students if you choose to do them in centers.)
2) Print blank charts for students.
3) Explain to students that the people of the Secret Annex could never go outside and had to remain silent all day. They lived in constant fear of discovery. It was tough for everyone, and the tension increased, erupting into arguments. There were also people who helped them survive the time in the Secret Annex.
4) Students should read the profiles and fill in the chart.
5) Afterward, they should answer the follow-up questions.
