Description
This a pedigree worksheet that I created after not being happy with most of what I found to practice reading and drawing pedigrees. Students first have to define some basic vocabulary. They then move on to some basic pedigree symbols. They gradually work their way up to drawing pedigrees and indicating individuals expressing certain traits. They must also explain patterns of inheritance in each of the pedigrees.
I have also included a very detailed answer sheet. After finishing, your students will have a very thorough understanding of pedigrees.
