Peanut Butter and Jelly Sing and Read Emergent Reader Mini Book

Thanks for your interest in my sing and read mini book (emergent reader), Peanut Butter and Jelly! I have found this particular mini book works well with preschool age children, but I have also had success using it with younger kindergarten age students struggling with literacy concepts.

Simply print pages 4 – 9, cut along the mid-page line, and staple together to create a book for your students.

These “take home” style books are such a great way to help children make literacy connections both at school and at home. I read my large, laminated, color version of the book over and over throughout the week – look for it in my TPT store. Once children are familiar with the text and images, I send home one of these mini books.

My students take great pride in reading their mini books to anyone willing to listen, and the books have served me well when it comes to getting families more engaged in reading at home. I hope your students love it as much as mine do.
