Description

The Passion Project is an exciting way to introduce research to students in a fun and engaging way! Students lead the way by choosing their own topic, and are guided through the brainstorming and research process by the workbook provided. Whether you spend a few days on the Passion Project, or a few weeks, by the end of it your students will be eager to present their knowledge with their peers. Grading rubric is included! Two types of note-taking pages are included with this resource.

Here are some Big Questions my sixth graders have answered in the past:

  • Which is better: Fortnite or Call of Duty?
  • How do you survive in the wilderness?
  • What makes the perfect horror movie?
  • Which is more effective: washing your hands or using hand sanitizer?

Good luck, and happy researching!
