Description
This awesome game gets kids to practice their basic parts of speech while having so much fun!
This is typically for grades 3-6 (can be used in older grades as well).
This is a twist on one of my all time favorite games: Scattergories.
Students will have an opportunity to randomly select letters that must be used to come up with words of different parts of speech within different categories.
The parts of speech that are practiced in this game are:
noun
verb
adjective
proper noun
adverb + verb
This can be played in small groups or full class and can be added on to with your own ideas.
