Description

These noun, verb, and adjective homes add a little fun to the end of year review! To complete this activity students build homes based on the words listed on each house part. Each home includes a base, roof, chimney, four windows, and a door. Students can complete the review activity individually or work together in a group. A recording sheet is included.

This is the PERFECT activity to engage your students as you review for testing and celebrate the END OF THE YEAR!

*I let my students work in groups of three. They worked together to cut and sort the parts of speech/house parts. Then, they each colored and created their own home. My students had so much fun with this activity that we put all the homes together to create a “Parts of Speech” town! We then added a street, cars, a few stop signs, etc. I made all students complete an individual recording sheet.
