Description
No prep, fun, engaging way to have students find a partner during class! If you often use partners in class but do not want to plan ahead to organize students in pairs but also don't want to have students always choosing the same partner, this resource is perfect for you. Pass these out to your students and they will randomly find a new partner that matches their card. Cards include a food character and a picture of their matching pair so that their is no confusion on who their partner will be. This resource is also great for ELL students because of the visual cues.

Suggested Use:
Find a Partner- Pass out one card to each student and have them find their partner based on the character on the card.
Find a Desk- Place a card on each desk before students arrive, hang on to the matching cards. As students walk into class hand them a card and they have to sit in the desk that has their matching card.
Random Student Caller- Have a card on each desk (sometimes I have them even taped to my desks) while the teacher has all the matching pairs. Throughout your lesson, randomly choose from your deck and the student sitting in the desk with the matching pair is the student who you will call on.
