What educators are saying

I sent these papers to parents that request homework for their children to keep practicing their speech and/or language skills. I highlighted any applicable parts and that was that. Thank you for helping me not have the same conversation a hundred different ways!
Perfect handout to help parents understand what exactly their child is working on. Sometimes goals can be wordy and confusing for the parent so this helps break it down!

Description

This product is designed to help parents/guardians and colleagues understand speech and language skills. It can also be used to help remind them what goals their child/student is working on throughout the year. There is one set of color sheets and one set of black and white sheets. Each set is 30 pages long. This product also includes one letter that can be sent to parents/guardians and another letter than can be given to teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, etc, to explain the sheets.

To prepare: Print out desired sheets (color and/or black and white).

To use: Use the boxes in the “target” column to indicate goal areas by placing an X in them. You can use any extra space below the “concepts” to add additional notes. The phonology and articulation areas also include lines to indicate the level that the student is working on (e.g. isolation, syllables, words, phrases, sentences, and conversation). Also, if you would like to indicate past goals, (e.g. if you are at an IEP meeting and would like to review goals), I’d suggest using a different color pen to indicate past vs. current goals.

I would recommend using this product at the beginning of the year, at IEP meetings, and/or whenever you’d like to provide someone with an updated explanation of speech and language goals for a student.

(This product does not contain handouts for fluency or voice.)
