Do you need an easy way to make a work folder for each student?

Here is what I do:

I like to fold a piece of large construction paper in half and place student work inside at conferences. Students color and glue one of these sheets to the front of the folder.

Parents can take the folder (and work you want to go home) with them when finished with their conference. Any work you need to keep can easily be set aside as you conference.

Students love choosing which cover they want to use. It gives them some real ownership to their folder!
