Description

In this activity, students are given a printout of a google map and asked to draw parallel lines, transversals, adjacent angles, alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, corresponding angles, and vertical angles. The map I used when completing this activity is included in the compressed file, however it will work with nearly any map with a large number of city streets. This activity was a GREAT way to tie in our local town, so I highly recommend using a map the students will be familiar with! Also included in this download is a PDF version of the instructions and rubric for the activity, as well as an editable document if you'd like to customize it to fit the needs of your students.
