Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal Bingo Game
This is a PowerPoint Fly-Swatter Bingo Game game in which the flies really do fly, which the students LOVE! Using their knowledge of corresponding angles, alternate exterior angles, alternate interior angles, consecutive interior angles, vertical angles, and linear pairs, students will practice solving problems with parallel lines cut by a transversal. All problems require solving a multi-step equation. These problems were written for a high school level geometry class.
It can be played with a Smart Board in which students can aim for a fly with a koosh ball. Or, if you do not have a Smart Board, you can play it with a projector and just have students come up to the computer to click on a fly.
Once a fly is selected, a problem will appear. Students must solve the problem by showing work on their recording worksheet (included with game). Then, they look up their answer on their bingo sheet. Also included are 30 individualized bingo boards.
