Paint Chip Poetry ELA Writing Upper Elementary Middle High School Editable GATE

This Google Slides presentation is COMPLETELY EDITABLE and guides students through the art of writing a poem incorporating paint chip colors into their masterpiece. My students get VERY creative with this. I have used this in my 5th grade gifted classes as well as my middle school English classes. (I also have friends who had amazing results with their high schoolers.) There are 2 links (one video and one blog) reminding the students what literary devices are... in case they have forgotten. ;)

All slides are editable so you can add, delete, or edit as you see fit for your students. I post this on my Google Classroom and ask my students to put their final poem slide at the top of the slideshow. That way once it is opened, it easy to find.
