GEOMETRY & MEASUREMENT
-A hands on, real life application of the Surface Area and Volume of a Cylinder. Students will design a prototype for a new company's pop can.This will include designing a bright, colourful and engaging label. However, in order to design a label your students will need to know the SURFACE AREA and VOLUME of their cylinder/prototype. This project connects math concepts to real life scenarios, as well as this math project can also be linked to media.
