How I Use It In My Classroom:

I have used these inventories with my 3rd-8th grade students for years. You can see other versions of it in my store here.

We do them at the beginning of the year as a Get to Know You Activity. As we complete them together as a class, I explain what the words mean. Once completed, we try to guess who in the class is each personality type-this is always great fun and pretty funny! We use it for discussion about our similarities and differences and how we can work together. Then, I display a chart of students’ personalities using findings from this inventory and other inventories (found in my store here). Throughout the year, I often put students into groups based on their personality types.
